Children's eyes of sweet expectations...
How I love our old fashioned Christmas!
Memories that last through the years...
Call me sentimental; Don't mind if you do --
But I wish an Old Fashioned Christmas to you!

Where I can post my thoughts, my photographs, and what the Lord is teaching me. May it be a blessing to you, and help you meditate on that which is pure and lovely. "Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy -- meditate on these things." Philippians 4:8

Labels: from my shelf, love
It is simply amazing how I can be going about my day, and all of the sudden someone will say something or do something that brings back a memory from my summer in China. I am so thankful God gave me the opportunity to be in Taiyuan for 7 weeks; so many things learned and lots (and lots and lots and lots) of pictures taken.
Eating Chinese food (with chopsticks of course!) will never be the same...talk about memories!!
If ya'll don't mind a few more China pics, I've never shared any from our trip to the Great Wall! The last weekend our team was in China, we were able to go see a part of the Great Wall.Instead of going to Beijing to see the renovated great wall, we ended up staying in the Shanxi province and traveling to see a part of the original wall. It wasn't as impressive as the restored one, but the view was incredible, we were the only ones in sight, we were able to walk on the wall -- and it was an amazing, wonderful, incredible day.
